Kamal founded Guided Learning out of a deep desire to help individuals live their best lives. Her journey, both personally and professionally, led her to complete a Master of Science in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology, equipping her with the tools to support students using proven, evidence-based techniques.

As a mother of two children diagnosed with dyslexia later in their education, Kamal understands the emotional and academic challenges many young people face when learning feels difficult. Her personal experiences fuel her mission to ensure that each child knows they are capable, even when things are challenging, and that mistakes are simply part of the learning process. Kamal believes in nurturing self-confidence so that children feel empowered to ask for help, share their thoughts, and become active participants in their learning journey.
